Kate Dorfling is a Credit Analyst at Millennial Finance Group, bringing around five years of experience across banking, mortgage lending and finance in New Zealand and Australia. After previously running her own consulting business in South Africa, Kate began her finance career in New Zealand with The Co-operative Bank before joining TSB Bank as a Mortgage Adviser and later Squirrel Mortgages as an Account Manager.
Kate holds a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), specialising in Residential Property Lending and Life and Health Insurance, and is currently completing her Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge of Australian lending and continuing to develop within the industry.
Kate particularly enjoys navigating complex lending scenarios and working towards positive outcomes for clients. Known for her approachable nature and strong customer service skills, she finds it incredibly rewarding to help clients achieve their financial and property goals.
Originally from South Africa, Kate now lives on the Sunshine Coast with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she loves camping, fishing, reading, exploring new places and finding a great coffee — with plenty more of Australia still on her bucket list.
